what a terrible neighborhood

everything in chelsea made me want to die. i lived on 13th street and 8th avenue overlooking a gas station that sold some of the worst weed i have ever smoked. our apartment was under 220 square feet but i thought i could live "japanese style" there. the stairs were made of marble and when i tried to help the super carry a box of bottles up the stairs i tripped and dropped everything. i miss going out in an august storm at night without an umbrella
